COPD - GSK Unbranded E-CRM
Pharmaceutical writing is a passion. This is an example of unbranded email communications from GSK (GlaxoSmithKline) to patients with COPD wanting to learn more about their chronic illness. Topics range from how to talk to their doctor about the disease, questions to ask, lifestyle choices, support and much more. There are six communications in all. Working on this project was a breath of fresh air.
Target: COPD patients & caregivers
Insight: COPD patients feel a lot of guilt. “I’ve done this to myself.” They also feel a sense of embarrassment and confusion.
Challenge: Relieve the embarrassment or guilt they may be feeling and focus on the education piece. The more you know, the more you know.
Solution: Provide tips and support to patients and caregivers so that they can take back control and live a better life.
